A Subway restaurant in Japan has recently announced that they are starting to grow their own organic lettuce in the store itself. While the amount of lettuce grown is very minimal compared to the lettuce needed to operate the store, it provides a healthier (albeit more expensive) option for their fresh subs. It seems like as kids we all dreamed of the day that inventors would come up with jet packs and flying cars. It seems to me though that we always forgot to consider how much one of these gadgets might cost...

Martin Aircraft Company has started making steps towards producing jet packs meant for public use, although not without a hefty price tag. The jet packs allow users to fly over 30 miles at speeds of 60mph+ and requires no license to operate.
